Terms of use

Last updated 2026-08-29

This is a draft. The facts about what the platform records and who can see it have been checked against the system itself, but the highlighted fields are not yet filled in and the wording has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Do not rely on it as a final agreement.

This page is published in English. Translations will follow; if they ever disagree, the English version is the one that counts.

These terms cover your use of the Clic2Learn platform, operated by [legal entity name]. Using Clic2Learn means you accept them.

Your account

You sign in with OneClicID; Clic2Learn never sees your password. Keep your account to yourself — work submitted from it, and certificates earned through it, are recorded as yours. Tell your training centre promptly if you think someone else has access.

You reach Clic2Learn as a member of an organisation. That organisation decides which courses you can take, who facilitates them, and whether your membership continues. We act on their instructions about their own learners.

Course content

Courses belong to the organisations and authors who wrote them. You may use the material to learn, including downloading a course for offline study on your own device. You may not republish it, sell it, or pass it to people outside your organisation without the author's permission.

Work you submit stays yours. You give your organisation, and us as the platform they use, permission to store it, show it to your facilitator, and mark it.

Certificates

A certificate is issued by your training centre, not by Clic2Learn. We record it, sign it so it cannot be altered, and make it checkable by serial number — but the judgement that you passed is theirs. They can revoke a certificate if it was issued in error or obtained dishonestly.

Because verification is public, anyone with the serial can confirm the name, course, date and awarding organisation. That is explained in the privacy notice.

Fair use

Do not:

  • share an account, or sit an assessment on someone else's behalf;
  • upload anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to share;
  • try to reach data belonging to another organisation, or probe the platform for weaknesses without written permission;
  • automate access in a way that degrades the service for other learners.

Accounts that do these things can be suspended by the organisation or by us. Where we suspend an account we will tell the organisation why.

Paid courses

Where a course has a fee, enrolment completes once payment is confirmed. Fees, refunds and cancellation are set by [who sets fees and refund policy], and the refund policy is [refund policy].

Availability

We aim to keep Clic2Learn available and your data safe, and we take backups. We do not promise uninterrupted service: maintenance happens, and so do failures outside our control. Downloaded courses remain readable on your device while the platform is unreachable.

Liability

[liability clause — for legal drafting]

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms materially we will say so in the platform before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of [governing law and jurisdiction].
